Last updated: 5 October 2026.

This policy explains what 7Degreez collects when you use the website and apps, why, who we share it with and what you can do about it. 7Degreez does not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

1. What we collect

Where it comes from What
You, when you sign up Name, email or phone number, password (stored hashed), or your Apple or Google sign-in; profile photo and bio if you add them
Your identity check Licence and selfie photos, taken in Persona's flow; the result of the check; from your licence, your date of birth, expiry date, issuing state and the last four digits of its number; the reason if a check is rejected
Payments From Stripe: your card's brand, last four digits and expiry, never the full number. For Hosts, whether your Stripe payout account can be paid and what Stripe still needs, never your bank or tax details
Your trips Bookings, prices, delivery addresses, the handover photos with their times, odometer and fuel readings, messages and photos in the trip chat, disputes and their evidence, reviews, ratings, what you've saved as a favourite
Hosting Your cars, their photos, pickup location and rules; your earnings, the platform commission and payouts
Your device Your location, only when you allow it, to show cars near you and delivery options; a push notification token; your notification settings and quiet hours
Operators Notes and decisions on verification, disputes and suspensions, kept in an audit log

We don't use advertising trackers, and the apps and website don't send usage analytics.

2. How we use it, and what others see

We use your information to run trips: to verify you, check a car's minimum age against your birth date, price and take payment, hold and release the deposit, keep the handover record, pay Hosts, handle disputes, send the notifications you've left on, keep the platform safe and meet legal and tax obligations.

Visible to anyone using 7Degreez: your display name, photo, bio, the year you joined, your rating and trip count, whether you're verified, a Host's typical reply time, and published reviews. Listings show the car, its photos, price, rules and pickup area and location.

Visible to the other person on your trip: your messages, the handover photos and readings, delivery address, and dispute evidence.

Never shown to other users: your email, phone number, date of birth, licence details, verification photos and result, the reason a check was rejected, card details and payout account status. 7Degreez operators can see these to do their job.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the other party to your trip (section 2), with the service providers below who run parts of 7Degreez for us, and where the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.

4. How long we keep it, and how we protect it

While your account is open we keep your information for as long as you use 7Degreez. A rejection reason is kept only while the check stands rejected.

When you delete your account (possible once you have no open trips or undecided disputes):

Stripe and Persona keep what they collected under their own policies.

Security. Every table is protected by access rules in the database, so each person can read only what they're allowed to. Handover and verification photos sit in private storage and open only through short-lived links. Card numbers and bank details never reach 7Degreez's servers.

5. Your choices and rights

In the app you can: edit your profile; turn each kind of notification off or set quiet hours; turn location off in your phone's settings (you can still search by place); and delete your account.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. 7Degreez does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and does not use sensitive personal information (such as your licence details) beyond what is needed to provide the Service. To make a request, write to dev@junzitechsolutions.com; we will verify it's you before acting.

Children. 7Degreez is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger; if we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes. We'll tell you in the app or by email before a material change to this policy takes effect.
